Hello! I’m super excited for this blog post today, because it is the first in a four week photo challenge! This challenge was created by the lovely Beth, from Behind the Pen, and I’m super excited to be taking part in it! π
The way it works is simple. Every Saturday in the month of April I will be posting photos in response to the writing-themed prompts that Beth has created. This will give you a little visual snippet into the many facets of my writing life non-existent as it is at this current moment due to exams. I’ve never done something like this before, and it looks to be grand fun! (I will also do a bonus post at some point with my top books of March, so keep an eye out for that!)
Soooo, without further ado, let’s get on to the Behind the Pen Photo Challenge!! π

*My Writing Essentials*
*My Favourite Book*
*My Favourite Bookmark*
*My Favourite Notebook/Pen*
*My Bookshelf*
*My Favourite Writing Quote*

That’s all for today! I know it was a bit more book focused than writing focused this week – but hey, almost all writers were first of all readers, amiright? π And don’t worry, there will be plenty of writerly things coming up in the weeks ahead! π
And if you’re a writer, you should definitely check out doing this photo challenge! You can find out more about it here. Let me know if you end up doing it – I’d love to see your photos! π

Hannah,
Great job on the Photo Challenge!
Okay, so I did not know you were an AoGG fan!!! π AoGG is my favorite book series of all time. Weβre did you find that notebook? I so want one!!!π
Yes, I am a huge AOGG fan!! π Glad to find another kindred spirit out there! π I’m not entirely sure where the notebook came from since I was gifted it for my birthday. But I have seen it floating around on the internet before, so I imagine that you could probably find it on Amazon or somewhere like that. I’m glad you’re enjoying the photo challenge! π
I enjoyed reading and looking at the photos in this Photo Challenge, Hannah. It is “spot on”, telling about your writing essentials. It was so interesting. That AoGG notebook is truly unique. I can appreciate you will be putting special entries into it. And I liked your writing quote: “Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.” It is so you! And another way to know your heart!
This is a wonderful post! I loved seeing all of your favorite bookish/writing things. β€ That copy of AoGG is gorgeous! π I love editions of classic books with amazing covers.
